She has shared videos featuring her character on YouTube and performed her single-woman comedy act in theatres around the globe. In 2016, she also wrote and starred in Haters Back Off Haters Back Off, a Netflix original show about the character. Ballinger created the comically talentless, egotistical and eccentric character to mock the numerous YouTube videos that feature people who sing poorly with the hopes of breaking into show business however, they are unaware of their inability to talent.Ballinger also features comedy and lifestyle videos on her own YouTube channel and a Vlog channel, Colleen Vlogs. Together, her YouTube channels have garnered over 5 billion viewers. Miranda Sings' channel has more subscribers than 10,000,000, and has more than 13 million TikTok followers and 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger has won a Teen Choice Award for "Web Star: Comedy"and a Streamy Award as the Best Actress. 4. After several years of dating, Ballinger married Joshua Evans in California in July of 2015. In two separate YouTube videos, Evans and Ballinger announced that they were divorcing in September 2016.
