Laura Vandervoort
In 1997, she made her acting debut in 1997 at 13. In 1997, after taking numerous courses and carrying out background work on Canadian shows such as Road to Avonlea and Harriet the Spy, she got her first speaking role in the Canadian kids' horror anthology Goosebumps and Are You Scared of the Dark?, both series were broadcast in 1997 on YTV. In addition to commercials as also guest-starring in movies like Mutant X and Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story. Goosebumps was also a element of her work. Two years later, Vandervoort played her debut feature film titled The Lookout alongside Jeff Daniels, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Goode, and Isla Fisher. Vandervoort's TV career started with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Then, she was offered the part of Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin "Kara Kent", (the woman who will later become Supergirl), in The CW serial-drama show Smallville. In season 7, she was a regular in the series. The episode she appeared on was "Bloodline" in the eighth season episode. Three years later, in the tenth season and final episode Smallville She returned to the show for two further episodes. After The CW and Smallville, Vandervoort was able to film the sequel in the feature film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2: The Reef. The Jazzman was her next independent film. The film also featured Canadian performers Michael Ironside and Corey Sevier.
