StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father, she is legally a U.S. citizen. Her brother who is a the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was once married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television, and later made her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played the principal role of Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in a Mexican crime-drama. The film was picked as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards, however, it didn't make the final cut. (9) Sigman was awarded the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award for her work as film critic in 2011. She was in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the following year.
