Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. She gained recognition in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors during a hundred episodes that ran between 2006 and 2007. Her first project that she worked on in Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine the show in which she played a young actor who had never been to Hollywood. She was then offered a character in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya a very sexy medical student. The show is then abruptly ended. The actress is then back in the shooting of a comedic series produced by the Farrelly brothers Good for shooting accompanied by Jason Sudeikis' partner Owen Wilson then appearances in series short films and B series movies. The year 2013 allowed her to take on more prestigious productions: she was featured in six scenes of the crime series Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular role in the web-series Chosen played by Milo Ventimiglia. She is in the initial two seasons of the series in addition to giving the reply to Chad Michael Murray. Then she played roles of support in two feature films that are based on aircrafts. One was a TV film for SyFy's Flight 7500 which featured actors from TV shows. The other one is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She is a flight attendant. Above all, she along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador the brand-new television series. The 13-episode season is all the Robert Rodriguez has planned for his thriller in which actors are CIA agents. The pilot is in the process of being developed of another series which however is not a success. In 2015 she therefore shared the promotional poster for a B-Series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause then appeared in the comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. The actress is also a part of the very large distribution of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She is also featured in five episodes from the Satisfaction series.
